I suppose they are on holiday laughing about Harry. I think the wounds should get worse, after all they have been dirty for a few days and severus should find out accidentally by grabbing Harry or Ian should find out about the . I don't think it should make them like him but Severus should begin to question what really happened

I really liked your story so far. Snape knowing there is something odd going on but not wanting to correct his thinking. Ian being afraid what this all means forhis family and Harry thinking that he should reach Snapes expectations of him being spoilt and ungrateful).
I would like to see this going on something longer. Perhaps Snape giving Harry a lot of cores, so that he can 'earn his keep' and not take everything for granted, than Harry falling ill because of his untreated infected wounds, Snape felling guilty, Ian sad and/or guilty and Harr just confused, because they hate him. So what is allthe fuss about? He was sicker a lot of times...
That are my ideas, I'm curious what you are doing and how the story progresses!
