    awwwhhh - poor Harry!! I would have thought having a young son would have soften Snape a bit... I was shocked he revealed such personal information to a reporter (and Harry) - maybe Dumbledore slipped something in his tea??

    Love this plot line - keep it up!

    I think it have softened him - he did reveal all of that personal information, didn't he? I think that the worst part for him is that it is not only Snape who have to suffer because of the rumors, it is also Ian. And faced with being accused of having forced himself upon Lily - which would defenitely have legal consequences, possibly ending with him in prison or at least fired from Hogwarts and Ian probably taken away from him - I believe he choose the lesser of two evil things in telling everyone about that.
