I never want to harangue an author for chapters, but it is hard waiting from week to week for this story. I love the narrative shifts between the two characters. I like adolescent, mischievous Severus and this more adult-but-broken side as well. It's also great to get Harry's more resilient perspective.
Author's Response: Hello, Quynce! Well, a little bit of haranging for new chapters, as you put it, can be a nice indicator of the enjoyment level readers are getting from a story! I am so glad that you are enjoying the story, as well as the overall style with the narrative shifts. That has been a fun challenge to write. Thanks for your feedback regarding the characterizations as well. Always nice to hear people's impressions! I'll keep those weekly updates coming. Cheers. :)

Impresionante!!
Me encanta como Severus ha sacado conclusiones, además de que es sumamente triste ver el desglose de Severus por su propio pasado
es triste que sepa tanto de abuso al haber sido abusado,
más como lo muestra
Author's Response: Hola, Kendra. Muchas gracias por la revisión!

Thanks for a awesome chapter! The conversation with Hermione was spot-on. Great job. And finally! Snape opens his eyes! I've been waiting for that. I loved the way you had the idea of Harry being an abuse victim gradually enter Snape's awareness while he listed the symptoms in general terms. I can't wait to see where it goes from here.
Author's Response: Howdy! You are most welcome for the chapter, and thank you for taking the time to let me know what you thought. Great to hear that you loved the method by which Snape realized Harry's abuse. I enjoyed writing that part. I look forward to sharing what happens next as well!
Ow, this is so amazing I'm really looking forward to the next one
Author's Response: Nice to hear from you again, crotia. Thanks for the enthusiasm!

I really liked Severus in this chapter. And he and Harry seem to have made some headway, as we can see from the easy camaraderie that passed between the two when Harry retrieved his book. As I've said before, I really enjoy your writing style, it's very unique. We feel as if we are coming to conclusions at the same time as the characters- you've put us inside their heads. When I read the summary for this story, I didn't think the storyline sounded all that plausible, I expected it to be the usual cringe-worthy, unrealistic portrayal of a mental illness in fanfiction. But I clicked on it and was more than pleasantly surprised, and find myself eagerly awaiting the next installment. It's engaging and realistic, and I can't wait for more. Well done, the most original and well written fanfic I've read.
Author's Response: Thank you so much for the long and detailed review! These are the reviews I value most, because they are full of valuable feedback and help me grow as a writer. I am very glad that you enjoy my style. It's been an interesting experiment in writing. Most of all, it is very good to hear you feel that my portrayal of mental illness in TSWWM is fairly realistic. I hate when fanfictions butcher mental illness. It probably has something to do with the fact that I have family involved in mental health, and have known many with mental illnesses of some sort, as well as experienced some difficulties on that front myself. It's a topic people really need education on. So thank you for your comments! I very much appreciate the feedback and kind words. Cheers!
I can't wait for the next chapter! Usually I really don't care much for OCs, but Daisy is really cool, though what is it with Sev and becoming friends with girls that have the names of flowers? ;)
Great story!
Author's Response: Oh my goodness, Kyoko ... I totally didn't clue into the fact that Daisy and Lily both have flower names! Like, duh ... Haha, I need to get more sleep. It's great to hear you are enjoying Daisy's character. It's always tough making people like an OC, so it means a lot when people say they enjoy them. Thanks for the review!

This was so awesome!!! I laughed so much reading this :D
Author's Response: Great to hear you liked it Kyoko!
I've been thinking there was absolutely no way Snape would get get healthy enough to return to Hogwarts after the summer, especially not in a teaching capacity, but there is a faint glimmer of hope. Not only has he helped Harry, he's now sharing issues with Daisy. Tiny steps for them both, but in the right direction. Hope they can continue to help each other.
Author's Response: Great to hear from you rosina! Always good to hear your thoughts on the story.
