    Thank-you finishing your story. I can only imagine how difficult it must be for an author to complete a story that starts out with such enthusiasm and ideas and then gets bogged down with writer block, lack of or bad reviews and problems with RL. It is frustrating for me as a reader to have a story just end. I have very rarely not finish a book even if I hated it so I tend to only read completed stories.

    I'm so glad I followed your story from the beginning even though I have only reviewed twice. Some of my favorite Harry Potter fanfic to read is when Harry and Severus realize that they have so much in common and belong together as family or friends or something and finally find peace and happiness no matter the road that got them there. It probably goes without saying that I'm not a fan of what happened to Sererus in cannon. Your story gave me my happy ending for Harry and Severus even though their future will not always be easy.

Thank you so much for contunuing to come back and read Mental, and I'm glad that you enjoyed the ending, and the hope in it.  This one was a very hard one personally to find a way to end it in hope, rather than despair. Not only did it take a lot of effort to write - but a lot of this story is rooted in personal experience, or the experiences of those I know.     I love this story, and have been following it ever since you first started posting it. It is very well written and original.
    I actually feel sorry that it's finished by now, because that means I have one less story to read.
    Good luck with your original book (maybe you can let us know if it gets published)

Thank you so much for the kind words, and the luck on my book. It's my first full length, fully original piece, so I don't know if it will go anywhere yet, haha. But if I ever do get published, I suspect I will let people know here. I feel very much indebted to the people here, for if I'm lucky enough to be published one day, it will be because this site has given me the courage to try. :)

    Still reading - of course! The story looks to be coming to a satisfying end, as long as nothing goes wrong when they get back to school. I seem to have been finding too many stories recently where Dumbledore is shown as evil and/or an idiot, so it was good to get back to your version.

    I looooved it! Awesome chapter! Hahaha the end was the best part. I love your Snape! And Harry! Snape really is immature in some ways. Harry seemed to love it though! muah ha ha! I am so glad that Snape finally asked Harry to live with him! And Harry said yes! Hooray! Thanks so much for the update!

    Snape in a leather jacket! What's not to love about that image. This is a great chapter and a bit of comic relief. After all the sadness, heartache and drama in your story Snape and Harry deserve some happiness. The friendship they have formed gives promise to so much more. I'm looking forward to you completing your story but I'm not sure I want it to end just yet either.
