I like an idea of Severus buying Hedwig (I hope thaty the owl name will be still Hedwig) to Harry.
And of course I'm wonderning why Harry doesn't remember things. Although I'm not sure if I really want to know...

Author's Response: Thanks for your review! People tend to repress traumatic experiences, (a psychological reaction known as Dissociation), which is why Harry doesn't remember certain incidents. I really don't want to know the details, either.

My first review on this Site after reading for years. Amazing. I love how you kept snape true to his nature and kept the story realistic. Overall one of my favorite hp Fanfics. Looking forward to reading more

That was an interesting chapter. I hope Snape got through to Harry about Draco. Having them discuss it over ice cream was a nice touch. We don't often get to see that side of Severus. I wonder if Harry is destined to go to Slytherin House? The wand shooting off silver sparks seems like it might be a sign. I'm really enjoying the developing relationship between Harry and Snape and looking forward to more.
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you liked the ice cream scene; it was pretty tough to write it while keeping Snape in character. I mean, Severus eating ice cream? About Harry's future house... my lips are sealed.

Another great chapter! It's a pity you have less time to write but I've just started back as well so know what it's like. I really like how Snape is finding out about Harry's past and the bit at the end was really sweet! I can't wait to read more!

I like this chapter a lot: some present, some past, slowly building trust...and behold, the Owl of Destiny! Love to see Hedwig join the group.
