    I love this chapter. The ever coming battle of the talk. How are you going to say it? What are you going to say? Are you going to outright lie...
    When people try to have these kinds of talks with me (or if I over think the moment they do, not that's it's very often luckily enough) is the only moment I feel positively Slytherin because I spend a lot of time planning and manipulating to bend it to what suits me best.

    Author's Response: Thank you! I'm really glad you liked the chapter; it was not an easy write. Yes, I overanalyze and plan my words in those situations too, though I try to avoid such conversations with people that I'd feel the need to do so.

    I think this is my favorite chapter of Snape. There's something so excellent about him in this. I hope he'll be able to continue unraveling everything that has happened to Harry. That poor child needs someone. Excellent work and flow as usual! Can't wait for the next chapter. Like you, I won't 'demand' it quickly. (Yeah, no, I do. LOL Joking with you... of course... Mostly...)

    Thanks for reviewing! I'm really glad you liked Snape in this chapter; I was a bit worried that he was too soft. I was a bit unsure about this chapter, in general, so that's really good to hear.  (The truth comes out in jest, you know, so you're demanding a chapter the same way I demanded reviews, hiding our intentions behind jokes...)

    Well done, I love seeing this story be updated! I can't wait to see what happens when Snape finds out how bad the abuse really was and that Harry lived on the streets not even knowing how his relatives died.

    I always look forward to updates on this story :) I think I might agree -- not my favorite chapter, but necessary. I think it's better to write so that the overall story is the best it can be, not so that each individual chapter has tons of excitement.

    I have to say that I like this chapter :)
    It's difficult but on the other hand - very explanative.
    And it seems that Harry has really started opening to Severus's help :)

    Hopefully it will last that way :)

    Wonderful chapter! A nice combination of Harry being content and intellectual after the joy of flying, and of his fear and angst.

    I love how non-judgmental Snape is in this chapter. He is very right in saying that only the simple minded would judge others for how they deal with pain. It's exactly what Harry needs to hear, that what he did was an act of despair rather than insanity. No one who hasn't experienced another's grief can truly understand it, nor should they act in a manner that implies that they know how one should react to it. It really does indicate a lack of depth.

    Good chapter :) keep it up! The broomstick part was fun; Snape doesn't seem like the broom type of guy though, more like an Apparate one XD any who, looking forward to your next chapter :)
