This was a great chapter! I was going through withdrawals. I think it was just right even if I always love longer chapters.

Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing! I'm glad you liked the chapter. It's sad how dependent we all are on this cite...

FINALLY! Little Harry breaks down. I've been waiting for that moment for when he cracked. I'm glad that now he'll be able to open up to Snape. He's been through so much that he really needs someone to foster the child in him. Hopefully that'll happen. Great chapter, bytheway! Looking forward to more. :)

Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing! I had this chapter planned out for a while, so it was great to finally post it and gauge everyone's reactions. It's all uphill from here... mostly, anyway, as no recovery processes in a purely vertical direction, if that makes sense.

    Hi!
This chapter was absolutely amazing! I don't care if it's short, you ended it at the perfect moment. It's very intense and you did a wonderful job in making us feel their emotions. I love the way you don't rush into things, even if it means we have to wait longer to see what happens next!
    Bye
    Silvia

Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing! I'm really glad you like the pace. Another chapter soon to come.

That was a brilliant and intense chapter! I am very glad you could finally update and can't wait to see what happens when Snape finds out Harry's past.

Author's Response: Thanks so much! When Snape finds out certain details... well... you may want to run for cover. ;)

That was a very intense chapter. It is good to see understanding in Severus, and wonder if that action was in his past also.

Great job showing the conflict in Harry. Will feeling good lead to more pain and fear.

Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing! I'm glad you like the chapter. It's not hard to imagine Snape struggling similarly in his youth, but I don't plan on delving into it much.

Ah I'm so excited for the new chapter!! It was excellent. You are doing an excellent job illustrating the interaction, the slow building of companionship and trust, even drawing out the correct parts. I can't wait for Harry to finally start spilling his guts to Severus! (assuming that eventually happens - don't mean to affect where you're taking this)

Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing! Harry will be revealing some things to Snape, but it certainly won't happen all at once.

It's just.. an awesome chapter. Thank you so much!
Thanks for the update!=3 I wonder if you could let me translate it into Russian one day, it's such an amazing and warm story!

Author's Response: Thank you very much! About the Russian, that's an interesting idea, maybe when the story's complete we can talk. I'm really glad you're enjoying the story!

Wow, it's a great follow up to terrible cliffie. I feel compelled to mention that some of the other reviewers of this story are *really* harsh; I hope the author doesn't take them too much to heart. The story has been developing very well. I like that Harry is so deeply conflicted about Snape and about living in general. I like that we are experiencing Severus's personal conflicts as well-- I'm wondering if he's going to start hovering around Harry? Well, there's bound to be some stress response to something as overwhelming as a suicide attempt.

    Author's Response:

Thanks for reviewing! Don't worry, none of the comments have been rude, just mainly contructive criticism or opinions. I'm not bothered by that :) But thanks for the vote of confidence; I do appreciate it. I'm really glad you noticed and appreciate the conflicts in the story, as it is difficult to get right. Yes, Snape will definitely be more attentive to Harry, though I wouldn't call it hovering. Stick around :)
