That was great. I really loved seeing Harry's perspective change and deepen even while he remains largely silent. It's very realistic and portrays his intelligence. Can't wait for the next chapter!

I must say I am with Harry in this as I can't stand Dumbledore and would like to see him manipulating Harry and Harry winning! Great chapter, I thought about this story last night and imagined a scene with Harry sorted into Slytherin and Dumbledore trying to change it and Harry refusing and saying he would go to the papers! I had great fun thinking of it so thank you,
Yay! I'm so excited for the next chapter!!! Love it so far.

Yes! Another chapter! Thank you and *does a little jig of joy in my room* :) I like how you portray Snape, not suddenly mushy but just does what he can according to who he is. I wonder if that make sense...
One of my very favourite fics is Armilla by Coral Grace. Potter is not the main character there, but I love it. Read it tons of times.
Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing! Yes, that makes perfects sense, I'm really glad you think I've portrayed that characteristic well. Thanks for the suggestions, I'll go check iit out...
What I enjoy most about the dialog in this story are the silences. So much of what happens in a real conversation is about pausing, rushing, being distracted, thinking about something else-- the pauses in this story have that kind of richness.
Author's Response: Wow. Thanks so much for that. It is a challenge to write dialogue between Snape and Harry because neither of them are very forthcoming, so the silences are what indicate what's really going on. I'm really glad you appreciate that aspect of the story.
Harry is too paranoid, i think mayb he should begin to trust snape and not keep on trying to second guess his motives, if sev was going to hurt him he would have already
Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing! Yes, Harry is too paranoid, but he is slowly beginning to trust Snape's motives, as shown in this chapter. However, Harry's only been at Snape for a few weeks, and he has nearly ten years of trauma and self-reliance to overcome in order for him to fully trust Snape. There will be a turning point in their relationship pretty soon.
(Harry, you should bother because otherwise, he could be a lot more blatantly out to get you whereas if you are subtle about it and respectful, he will have to be more subtle in turn. :P ) I love this chapter. I'm so glad that Dumbledore didn't try to take Harry away, I can't see that going anywhere good. It will be interesting when/if Severus ever figures out *why* Harry doesn't trust the Headmaster, and what he'll do about it.
(Also, in regards to your reply on my last review, thank you! :D Aah, that made my night, I'm so glad you like my stories. I'm planning on updating them really soon, too. XD)
Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing! Yes, I quite agree, Harry should definitely listen to that advice :) Howeve, as smart as he is, he's ten years old, and since when have ten year olds been known for their strategic thinking? I'm really glad you like this chapter. And when Snape finds out why Harry hates Dumbledore... well, I have that whole scene planned out already ;) I'm so glad to have made your night! Waiting eagerly for an update. Maybe I should threaten not to update my story until you do? Kidding lol

This has got to be one of my favs so far! And I really liked the part where snape was like, "the is not an acceptable answer" and Harry said, "then I don't have one" that right there is what a lot of authors lack, and it's keeping the story funny, interesting, but canon. Update pleaseeeee!
Author's Response: Thank you! *grins* Yeah, I had fun with that line ;). Not to worry, I have the next chapter in the works right now.

Wow great story!! Thanks for uploading and this chapter was super. I feel a bit bad for Dumbledore, he must be really upset
Author's Response: Thank you! I kind of feel sorry fo him too, but just a bit. He really had it coming, so I won't spare too much sympathy.
