Loved this story...i wish it continued throughout harrys school years!
Beautiful, fitting ending. :-) I really enjoyed reading this.
You captured a child's excitement at seeing magic for the first time well, and the last rush for holiday shopping nicely, too. Very good chapter.
That sounds like a lovely gingerbread house...Hogwarts version. I like that, though the ice seemed to break between Harry and Severus in the previous chapter, there are still kinks to iron out, and Harry is still having some misgivings. Nice.

I like how Severus started warming up to Harry, and how he patiently answered all of Harry's questions (that can be a feat in and of itself, answering a kid's questions). Very nicely done.

Off to not as happy a start as Harry had hoped. Hopefully Tobias is right and Severus will snap out of this funk that he's in, though it must've been quite a shock for him to see Harry Potter in his home. Nicely done.
