I love Flitwick. I have yet to ever see him not take a student under his wing. Maybe he could have some more interaction with Victoria? Someone to talk to that she wouldn't stress over getting in trouble with. And maybe he could help with her little writing issue (I bet he's already thinking up solutions for her). A little socializing without Snape breathing down her neck might be something she needs. Minerva's fine, great and all, but she really needs a friend, a confidant, at this point, not another disciplinarian. Not another person that has expectations, just someone to listen for when she's ready to talk. And I mean actually -listen- when she finally decides to. Someone to work -with- her, not 'what's best' for her. (Yes, in the end, I think what she really needs at this point is a hug.)

Oh my gosh! This is so great and it just keeps getting better. What can I say but awesome job...from start to finish an excellent chapter. One of my favorite things about this was Flitwick. I never would have thought I'd like his character, but the little part he had you wrote very well. You almost made me think of him as a grandfather type and the line Mind your father was the best ever. I'd love for them to have Flitwick as an ally in their endeavor. He seems a bit more rational than Minerva and Severus can be. I hope to see him not as a main character but more as little side note here and there. I also love all the emotions. Keep up the great work. I am so excited for the next chapter.
Maybe now you'll start to come to your senses and adopt her.

Hi, I found this story a few weeks ago and have enjoyed it a great deal. My favourite girl Harry story. I love how confused fatherhood makes Snape. I'm surprised Victoria doesn't ever refer to herself by her new name, I'd think she'd be more excited. I can't wait for Snape to slip up and call her Victoria to her face.
AW this was such a great chapter! Loved everything about it! I hope Severus opens up to Harry (or should I say Victoria) about Lily! I would LOVE to hear THAT conversation!

Aww, fantastic chapter! I loved it! Clever Flitwick! I wonder if anyone else is going to figure it out. I loved the emotions and descriptions in this chapter. I bet Severus would forbid his daughter to take Divination, given how he feels towards the teacher. I wonder if Lily and Severus took Divination.
I'm loving this story. Thanks for the update! Please update when you can! I can't wait to see how Slytherin house will treat Miss Evans.
Good ole Flitwick knows what's up

A little bit disappointed that Scurvy Grass Flitterbloom didn't make it, but Victoria is fine too I guess :p I'm so glad that Sev gave Harry her name! I guess she will still be "Harry" for most people who knew her but now, everytime Severus will think of her as "Victoria", he will be reminded that she IS his daughter. I think this will be important to strenghten his bond with her (at least I hope so). Also liked that his choice for her second name would have been Eileen; just love that name and always liked the idea of Lily naming her daughter after her childhood friend's mother - though I never read a story yet were this happened. The chapter title is just so dead on; really liked it. The next step for Severus now is to not only see Lily in her but also himself. But, knowing Severus' way to deal with emotions, this will probably still take some time.
Now I'm excited for everyone's reaction. Will the news about "Harry Potter" actually being a girl be publical availalbe once Albus submits the form or can we expect some big explosion when the new term starts? I hope for the latter for more shock value :>
Roman version of the goddess Nike. That really should have been something to celebrate, especially since it was actually a name of her own for once, and not the name of a fantasy child that never actually happened. But... they're like magnets with the negative sides facing each other. At least Victoria has tried, though her efforts have just been met with more pushing away. I wish that he would stop pushing her away at every turn. That is beyond being 'prickly', down to being emotionally abusive. I just hope he learns before something snaps and hurts her or any possibility of them even being able to be in the same room for any length of time.

I know I probably say or think this every time I read chapter that that's the best one ever, but oh my goodness. This was awesome..the feeling, the tension, the sweetness...everything was perfect and fits your story so well. You had Snape so well in character. Every time he rejected Harry I wanted to cringe. It was so perfectly him that I loved it. I thoroughly enjoyed their long conversation as well and how they are working through some of the tension....and I am so glad that Snape and Minerva are on the same team again. They need each other to be able to stand up to Albus and his mischievous plans. The name choice was unexpected, but I like it. I have a feeling as the story develops she will grow into her name even more.
