So Severus managed to fool Voldemort again. I'm glad that Sev has the support of those he loves. He needs it. The whole chapter makes one wonder what would ever compel someone to become a Death Eater.
Author's Response: Yes, he managed to get out of a tight spot yet again, thank goodness! And I think what draws people to become a Death Eater is one of two things: 1.) They have been outcasts their entire lives and want to belong; or 2.) They can see Voldemort's power and want a piece of it for themselves. Although I haven't written it in this story, as cruel as the Dark Lord is, I'm sure he can be just as giving to his Death Eaters when things are going his way. Thank you so much for the review!
