Great chapter. I especially enjoyed the different brooms. I hope Snape stays engaged now that school has started, and that Sirius will get to settle into Harry’s new digs soon.

I loved how Mrs. Weasley treating Harry like she typically does put into sharp contrast just how much Harry’s life has changed since he last saw her. It has also been nice seeing the other professors interact with Harry more. Thanks for these amazing updates.
I just discovered this story and I’ve eaten it up! It’s so good. I also love seeing competent adults—it’s honestly refreshing to see a Dumbledore that is good and cares. I hope Sirius comes back and is just as competent as the rest!
I really liked the dementors bit, excited for the next chapter!

Love your story! It is a treat to get daily updates this week as well. Thank you! I really enjoyed reading about the going-ons in alleys and at the orphanage. I don't think this avenue has been explored much by other authors before. It is also interesting to see how Harry is learning, adapting and becoming more mature in his role. Severus has finally called Harry "Harry", though not to his face yet. A side note: do we get to find out who the Hogwart's student is, whose father owns Payne Inn?
Author's Response: I completely forgot about writing about the owner having a son that went to Hogwarts! I went back and found it though, "The owner of the Payne Inn has a son that goes to Hogwarts, and in the summer he's paid to keep all the buildings in good repair on the outside." I never really thought about it beyond writing it, because it's the little details like that that make a story come to life and seem real. Now that you mention it though I can think of a particular upcoming chapter where the identy of the son could be really useful! Keep an eye out for it coming up!

This story has been amazing. I read it a long time ago, and never thought it'd be updated. Now I'm back, with an account, and there are new chapters coming. This story is so refreshingly original, but with people in character. Snape hasn't gone completely soft, the Weasleys are being themselves, it's perfect. Absolutely perfect.
Author's Response: You just made me grin from ear to ear :p Hoping to finish it up very soon so I can put out more new stories!
Lovely holiday! The imagery of playing Quidditch over the water was wonderful. Thanks for the great chapter.
I love this - all of it - and am so happy that there’s more to read, with more on the way!
Thanks for the great chapter. These outings are a nice reflection on how much Dumbledore has failed in his duties as Harry’s guardian. It’s been an interesting dynamic to read about. I’m so glad that Snape is readjusting his perceptions of Harry.

What a fantastic and unexpected turn of events. I fully expected Harry and Justin to initiate their back up plan. I hope Harry finds a stable home with Snape and can also continue his efforts to change the alleys.
