I actually went and reset my password in order to leave you a review :) You mentioned how reviews keep you going and I don't think this wonderful story is getting enough visibility, and I just wish (hope) for you to keep writing.
I've been searching for a good female Harry story, and I love your writing style, especially including both POVs, and how you intersperse Snape's & Ariel's subconscious forcing its way into their conscious deliberations (especially when they don't want to/can't admit to/are scared of the truth). Also, a believable, bitter, angry Snape who curses like a sailor, with an incredibly dark sense of humor and biting sarcasm, is exactly how I think he would be if we were ever allowed a peek into his mind. I'm glad he's not losing his edge immediately with Ariel, and while it's heartbreaking to see Ariel's hopes get raised and dashed repeatedly, her struggle for his affection and his resistance (and his emotional damage) is so believable and you express it so well, it tugs on my heartstrings.
I love this chapter. "The Darkness", as Ariel calls it, is an awesome device and I cannot wait to see where it leads. I'm guessing it is Voldemort's remaining soul piece floating around... though Dumbledore's conviction that he can't get into the school is making me doubt. The insidious nature of it, stalking, and talking, to an 11 year old.... creeptastic. Can't wait for the next chapter!

Love this new chapter! I check everyday for an update on this story and I am glad you found the time. Literally cannot wait to see where this is going...waiting for the turning point in the story. I absolutely loved them brewing together and cannot wait to hear severus’ internal denial, its endearing

It sounds as if you are very busy and I expect this term will be just as bad, hold on there things will get better!
I am so pleased you updated your wonderful story. I think the relationship between the two is very angst and realistic, I dislike stories where he instantly becomes soft and mushy. The tension is very well done with the dark forbidding Voldemort giving a gothic horror to it. Thank you so much

I love this chapter.
Kinda figured chaos would go down at the quidditch game, but did not expect the cursed bludger of death. Snape to the rescue! In the most dramatic way possible, of course. Which was fantastic.
But I also like the end where they are FINALLY having a real conversation. Loving that Ariel has a mental “Snape translation library”. That definitely made me laugh. The end is super intense too, definitely interested to see how Snape proves he actually cares. Hugs I’m guessing? Please tell me there will be hugs? (And not instead Dumbledore interrupting as revenge for Snape having his floo locked and closed....)

Ah that darkness is creepy. Definitely wondering what will happen at the game — if anything attacks Ariel while everyone’s distracted.
Also I really love that Ariel and Hermione are such great friends
