I’m so glad that Severus came clean (mostly), though I wish that he had been completely honest. With Hermione on the job, they were bound to figure it out anyway! I hope this doesn’t degrade Harry’s trust in Snape, just as he’s really seeing him as a father figure.
Excellent point on how much about Snape’s loyalties the dark lord would have pulled from Alton’s mind. I’m so curious why Snape was left untouched!

I cheered for the students’ solidarity with Harry! I like Draco’s intended career choice, and look forward to seeing how the DM/HG pairing develops. Thanks for your wonderful story.
The magical theory puzzle is interesting! I really like how Dudley and Harry are interacting now.
That was a totally heartbreaking realization for Severus at the end there. I like Harry’s maturity over the article, though really hope that Skeeter gets what’s coming to her!
