if anyone should be lectured it should be the twins and ron but clearly they had to come rescue harry themselves because nobody was fucking taking them seriously 

this was a RESCUE MISSION that went sideways, NOT a bunch of idiots having fun

actually you know who's at fault for this? DUMBLEDORE. who ignored an abused child begging not to go back and sent him to hell.

and not a single fucking apology from dumbledore for ignoring harry and sending him back, or for being the one to send him to the dursleys in the first place and then never fucking checking on him OR deciding that figg's reports on harry weren't enough for concern and then still not checking on him
