Oh my gosh!! I didn't realize this hadn't been continued when I clicked, but that's such a shame because it is amazing. It really is. Your writing has this... flair? It's got so much style to it. Hermione's hand appearing in Harry's vision -- the snow outside the train -- the imagery is so pretty and vivid. And the dialogue... hehehe. It made me laugh a couple times. Everyone is a master of understatement... Harry's “But, you see, I can’t,” in the last chapter was sad and hilarious all at once. Sadlarious.
And then the plot is amazing. St. Brutus’s Secure Center for Incurably Criminal Boys is a ticking time bomb. Severus's relatives are going to assume that he's the one abusing Harry, or at least, that he's terribly callous for apparently not caring of Harry's abuse! (Harry's poor clothes, skinny appearance, etc). I have no doubt the grandma will suss it out.
Snape's thoughts on the future fake funeral were also awesome. xD Like let's be real, we know by the end of this their relationship won't be pretend -- and that'll solve Severus's whole problem too. Idk, your whole setup is really neat, it gives us so much drama to look forward to. I wish there was more of this fic... but all the same, I've enjoyed the journey to this part. Thank you for writing it. :)
