WOW!!! Just WOW!!! You REALLY poured an insane amount of originality into this story! (I don't want to get detailed--I hate spoilers!) But I was practically holding my breath through the brewing process, only to groan at the end, realizing what a Gryffindor would do to save the day! Absolutely AWESOME!!! And I loved the Christmas tree ornaments!
Author's Response: Thanks so much, shadowienne! It was tremendous fun to write this story and come up with all the little details. And yes, brewing a potion under those circumstances must be very frustrating. :-) Thanks a million for your kind review. I wonder if those Christmas tree ornaments exist in our world? Somebody surely came up with that idea before me! :-)
Lovely. They'll have to stay in touch after that!
Author's Response: Thank you, rosina! Yes, I'd hope they stay in touch. For Occlumency lessons maybe? Or Snape drops by Headquarters to brew potions and annoy Sirius . . .
Well done
Author's Response: Thank you, Vadimmom!
Ha, love the ending! Harry's sacrifice was so touching. And Snape realizing that and offering his help, ahhh.
Author's Response: Thanks so much! Delighted you liked the ending. :-)
BEST END TO THE YEAR OMG I LOVED THIS!! thx for this little masterpiece
Author's Response: Thank you so much! Little masterpiece :-), I'm blushing here! Thank you for your kind review. It made my day! All the best for the year ahead
This was a totally delightful and sweet story that kept me on the edge of my seat. Thanks so much for posting it!
Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing! It's just wonderful to get this direct feedback on the story! Especially excited to hear it kept you on the edge of your seat! That's what I was aiming for. :-)
This is darling! I loved it! I can't believe that Harry really snapped his own wand. Wow. Snape has to feel forever grateful to Harry now.
Brilliant story. Everyone was so much in character. The little cauldron was inspired, with the mean old potioner's voice. Delightful story. Thank you so much for writing and sharing it!
Author's Response: Thanks for being the first to review, Jan! I just love your little story "Rubbing Alcohol", keep going back to it, so I'm thrilled that you enjoyed my story too. Happy New Year and happy writing to you!
