lovely story! all of the world building around potions was so interesting and fun. looking forward to the sequel!
very comfy ending, i'm looking forward to ur next work chef
I enjoyed this story very much, from beginning to the end! Superbly written with in-character, growing personas, twists and turns, developing relationships - and a whole new world of potions apprenticeship. Frankly I'm thoroughly impressed and giddy excited for the second book. Thank you dear author and best wishes to you!
Author's Response: He's not mystified with coming to care for Harry, he just hasn't yet seen himself in the role of father. Protector, yes, father, not yet. He is mystified with Harry coming to see him as a father though. There will definitely be more growth for the both of them in the sequel.
Loved this! The gane had me so excited. Also loving Malfoy in this. I love giving him a chance and having him be reasonable and helpful.
Such cool world building. I love how immersive it is. I just stick around and enjoy the ride in your fics.
I'm so happy with the way Amos is portrayed in your story. I forgot to mention it in previous reviews, but the scene in the apothecary was one of my absolute favorites. It was so tender and he treated Harry so gently, I really really loved that. Now seeing him come to the school to get after the Hufflepuffs, that is just...he's a good guy. And then ending with Snape calling Harry by his name. Ahh! Love!
Aww! Harry got to spend time with the Weasleys, that's a really good present by itself. I love that.
So much happened in this chapter! I love the librarian. And oh what a relief thaylt Snape knows about the abuse now.
Author's Response: There's definitely more things to learn about the potions community coming up in book 2. There are more gatherings, more people to meet, and Harry will see someone actually get shut out of the community, just like Snape told him was a possibility (don't worry, it's not Harry). |
