Thanks for this pivotal chapter, and for making it a wonderfully long one! I was beyond thrilled to see this update. I love how things clicked into place for Snape. His contemplations at the end showed just how differently he’s thinking now. I absolutely loved the takeaway system and scene. It was beautiful and touching. I also loved Harry’s interactions with Mrs. Clarke. Thanks again for this amazing and satisfying chapter. I’m excited to see that there’s another chapter in the offing! I’m looking forward to the conversation ahead.
I'm glad the Head Boy and Head Girl are from different houses. I've always thought that it was unfair that Gryffindor had both spots when Lily and James were students.
I laughed when you advised how to pronounce Aoife's name. It's a common Irish name, but you're right - English speakers might have no idea how to say it.

I’m incensed by Snape’s unilateral decision-making! I understand his reasoning in this instance (and it certainly makes sense), but how can he not have at least asked for Harry’s opinion. I feel like you’ve set the situation up nicely for a Christmas show down, where Snape is hopefully disabused of his erroneous assumptions about Harry’s life. Thanks for the images. I appreciated seeing the prefect apprentice badge, and could see Harry’s loneliness in the image by the fire. Thanks so much for updating, and I’m looking forward to seeing how the holidays unfold.
