Thanks so much for the quick update! And thanks also for another excellent chapter. I really hope that Snape’s truth radar (perhaps light legilimency) works on others besides Harry. I’m looking forward to the truth being revealed, forthwith!
I’m loving the mushroom detail in this, as well as the prickly relationship between Harry and Snape. Definitely looking forward to more.
As always, you have me hooked.

Amo esta obra, recién la comencé hoy y ya me he leído todos sus capítulos. 😊
This was a super enjoyable chapter. I loved the mushroom hunting in the highlands, and seeing Harry’s knowledge grow so rapidly through experience. The interactions with the apothecary and the whole sun-culture Harry’s being exposed to is thoroughly fascinating. Thanks, as ever, for a unique and lovely read.
Thanks for your vivid description of Camden Alley, and for the maps that bring it to life spatially. I hope that Snape’s misconceptions of Harry don’t persist too long, especially with the front that Vernon was posing. Thanks for this great chapter.
This was such a well done and starkly pivotal chapter. I loved Snape’s ruminations and the whole setting you created around him as he was thinking. The picture of Camden Alley was a lovely addition. It was compelling how the two different portrayals of Vernon merged at the chapter’s end. Thanks for a terrific read.

I love this side of Uncle Vernon - seeing his own self interests as aligned with Harry’s best interests. It’s utterly fascinating. The day out was so fun to read, and Vernon’s conversational persuasiveness was the highlight. This is a terrific read, and I’m relieved and excited that there’s more ahead.

This was amazing in its strangeness to the norm we’ve come to expect in so many ways! I felt the strong cognitive dissonance that Harry and the Dursley’s felt in this chapter in elevating magic and Harry himself, even as their history has always been to suppress and deny it. This disjunct was brilliant. I was beyond thrilled to see a story from you, as I’m always assured of a wonderful and fascinating read. Thanks so much for this.
Enjoyable story. Snape and Harry are definitely in character.
