Uh oh...
Nooooo....you left us again on a cliffhanger...why??? I got up from my seat and yell "No!" First, it was awful what Scrimgeour was doing to the teenagers. That alone is child abuse! He got what was coming to him, thank goodness he's gone and a very well deserved ending! I knew it, Severus was summoned by Draco or Harry maybe, since we don't know what Harry is thinking. I like that Draco POV was written for this chapter. However, I'm left wondering about Severus, Alexei and Leif. How did the three arrive to the destination??? Please tell me that Alexei is going to be ok. He was stabbed with a poisonous knife. He's your incredible character!!! The chapter is moving so fast!! They were so close in getting the prophecy...why are you torturing us??? I was thinking the same thing Severus told Draco...run!!! Please tell me you have the next chapter ready :) I truly enjoyed that you had me on the edge of my seat with anticipation and reading so quickly. I read this a couple of times. I know when you do complete this story, I will reread it from the beginning :) to enjoy it without thunking my head on the table.
It seems the threesome make great strides to go forward and then go back three steps. It's frustrating, and you want to take them and give them a good shake and tell them to get over it and move forward!! I thought the idea of the tracker to be ingenious and how Draco removes it with the instructions of Leif. I like the gentleness of Leif towards Draco. Also Leif and Alexei have a lot of patience with Draco and Harry, who are over the place with emotons. The magic that Draco and Harry possess and the way it interacts with one another is so fascinating. It shows a brotherly love to be with each other. I know since I have 3 brothers and I do enjoy time with them now since we have our own adult life but when we see each other it reminds me of this magic.
The beginning of the chapter is so heart wrenching and emotional. I feel for Harry and Draco. Draco tries to help him and it makes the bond between them grow. I feel for Leif and Alexei who tries to help Harry. Severus is developing into one who has started to care for the boys. I do like how Draco and Harry are getting along. I do noticed that Professor Snape feelings towards the boys has changed too. It's interesting that Draco can find Severus and Harry due to his magic. I wonder will this magic help later in the story. Don't get Harry angry or he'll let his magic express his feelings. I feel for Severus who didn't think he would feel different for Harry. I never liked Dumbledore with all his secrets.
Rereading this chapter, I overlook the first part of the Prophecy being activated and not allowing no one to touch it. There's a barrier around the prophecy that if anyone tries to get near it, the prophecy will attack it. I wonder about it in later chapters. If Voldemort tries to take it, then the prophecy will attack him too? I do like the softness of Severus towards Harry, like a father. Great Chapter!
I did enjoy how Draco, Harry and Severus have change during their time at Prince Manor. The name you gave for Severus home was clever. I know these characters belong to JKR but you molded them to be your characters and I enjoy reading those slight changes. It's nice how you soften the rough edges around Draco and Severus from the books. Harry is tolerable and I can see the subtle changes in his thinking towards the Slytherins. I like how you're building the story and the characters. It's an original ideal your storyline on Draco and Harry having Aether and Elemental magic.
