It was time Tobias heard about himself. I'm so glad that Snape pointed out that Harry has a right to be there. Snape doesn't see himself as a father but he's a million the parent Tobias was. I love that Harry is proud of Severus for working at the bar. I'm also glad he's still going to the Hills. Tobias' drunk ass better be in AA on Tuesdays and Fridays.
I think Curry will be good for Harry. I also think Curry better learn to behave before Severus completely loses it. For real though- if Harry won't go to Severus for an anxiety attack then a dog could prove useful.
I had no idea that Snoop got the bow wow wow yippee yo yippee yay from another song.

Lovely chapter, I love Tobias and you are doing his way of speaking so well. A long time ago I was brought up in the North West of England and although not Cumbrian I can get most of what he is saying. You describe the bleak run down towns so well, but it is also beautiful up there with the hills and lakes, perhaps Harry can see some of that beauty beyond Cokeworth. Thank you for updating.

what a great chapter! I can't wait to see how Tobias, Harry and Severus get on, though something tells me it won't be exactly peachy... (also a rare example of Severus comforting Harry!! I love how he's slowly stepping into the role of being Harry's kuya, as well as maintaining his usual brisk and spiky demeanour! :))
Harry's not sure about Tobias but he's full of empathy for the dog. Poor Harry- he's concerned about his place in his little family with Severus. This chapter was very engaging. I enjoyed reading it!

I had a feeling we'd be seeing Tobias. How did he get all the way to Penrith? Severes is just going to love this. I'm so proud of Harry every time he yells back at Snape- even just to tell him to stop. My favorite part of this chapter was Severus waking Harry from the nightmare. He wasn't mad about being hit. I also love the idea os Prof Snape waking Slytherins who are having bad dreams. Wonderful chapter! |
