Okay there is a lot to address here. Did Curry Iperio Snape? Curry is an animagus? Is he Sirius? Why would he live with Tobias all that time? Was Snape actually Imperio'd by Peter? I swear to god if Curry is an animagus and sent Harry a radio and peed in Snape's boots I'm going to die. I really enjoyed the conversation between Snape and Harry about Snow. I'm shocked Snape didn't realize the truth. I thought the Genie had told him after the pageant but I guess it didn't happen like that. I'm a sucker for these conversations so I think Severus should make more time for them. Ms Tibbons calling Severus Eeyore is cute. Harry certainly found it amusing. If he values his life he won't be sharing that info with the Weasleys. Harry's pity for Dudley is fascinating. He's a deep kid. I'm happy he understands that Snape cares for him. This chapter was amazing and I can't wait for more!

Thank you. I love how Severus chose to have a meal after Vernon declared what they were doing. He feels the treatment of Harry very keenly.
Shout out to Severus for not attacking Vernon physically. He's had growth as well. I can't imagine that this will end favorably for the Dursleys. Good. They deserve to have the book thrown at them. I'm not a big fan of the skeleton man social worker. Seriously- he couldn't just take Harry down the hall or report to a cop that Dudley was harassing Harry? Pitiful. At least it gave Harry an opportunity to show Dudders how little he cared about him. Harry is correct to pity Dudley, but Dudley is also expected to know how to treat others. I'll say this for Dudley- he makes Percy Weasley seem a lot more palatable! I'm sad to see how high Harry's anxiety has been. He really needs a place to process all of this. Too bad he's stuck in the 80s. I think he'd be given more mental health support today. Tobias needs to leave Snow alone. If she doesn't want to talk to him that is her choice. He doesn't get to force himself in. Hardy Boys books? Nice. If I recall correctly those books are a bit ambitious for 9 year old. It goes to show just how bright this girl is. And of course she picks Hardy Boys over Nancy Drew. She's got no time for the Nancy/Ned relationship or Bess' clothes drama.
Bonus chapter! Heck yeah! You're the greatest! Percy is such a little snot. I know he's 11 but I kind of want to slap him. He's lucky Snape isn't at Hogwarts. He'd take him down a peg or twelve. I think it's great that Harry is as curious about Prof Snape as the Weasleys are curious about Kuya Severus. Each party has such a difficult time wrapping their minds around Snape in another context. That's how it is with kids and adults, particularly kids and teachers. The Weasleys being shocked at Snape's blood status certainly rubbed Harry the wrong way. With good reason. I'd expect more from Bill, but I guess he's still pretty young too. I suppose that's a testament to Slytherin and Snape's persona. Snape's summoning charm on Scabies (new name is sticking btw) failed because it's Peter. Will Severus work it out that Scabies is an animagus? Harry being triggered by the word 'donor' makes perfect sense. I feel bad for the kid. It would freak me out too.
Thank you for writing this chapter, it certainly brought back the Dursleys and Harry is right that his life is so much richer than Dudley can ever know

Ah, Percy - accusing Harry of fame. Yes, the Weasleys would be curious about Snape's background. And no, Accio a rat wouldn't work when it's not actuallya rat being summoned.
Thank you an enlightening chapter. I love it when Severus and Harry have a heart to heart. Severus is trying to help prepare Harry for the future in his own way, I also love the way he wants to get one over on the teacher, very Snapeish |
