Reviews For New Perspective
Just responding to your response last comment, completely happy I can't wait to read the next chapter
My main hope is he remains his salty attitude like most people turn him into a teddy bear towards Harry after a bit what I'm hoping to see is yes Snape becomes less cruel and gives Harry awkward comfort and can have moments of kindness but mainly bitchy kinda Author's Response: My goal is to maintain his essence; I would never dare to turn the dungeon bat into a Hufflepuff. (Not that there’s anything wrong with Hufflepuffs, but I think you get the idea.) What I’m aiming for is to keep him as the same austere and intimidating Potions Master, the one who delivers sarcastic and cutting remarks, sometimes even wounding with his words. My objective is to portray him as the same proud Slytherin with a reluctant tolerance for one particularly annoying Gryffindor. Then, I’ll see if I can write their dynamic the way I have it in my head. What I can say for sure is that the one thing I absolutely do not want to do is completely distort Severus Snape’s character. Thank you for this exchange of ideas; I’ve really enjoyed discussing it with you,it’s been truly inspiring!
But I loved the chapter, and I’m looking forward to see what Umbridge will do Author's Response: Thank you so much for the review. I think it’s necessary for Snape to be this unpleasant, at least in the beginning. I hate him too, but I can assure you he’ll get better.
I think you're doing SO well for not being a native English speaker. I really don't think I could write so well in another language, lol! Author's Response: Thank you so much for the review and for your kind words.
AHH ILYM THANK YOU IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS CHAPTER ALL DAY IM OBSESSED FINALLY SOMEONE PORTRAYING SNAPE IN HIS ACTUAL ATTITUDE I LOCE THIS SM AWAITING YOUR NEXT CHAPTER Author's Response: THANK YOU SO MUCH ! I’m truly delighted that you enjoyed the way I portrayed Snape in this chapter. I think he has to be this spiteful, at least at the beginning. Snape isn’t someone who can change overnight—it has to be a gradual journey. He’s built his entire life around resentment, and that can’t just vanish in a single day. I’m so glad you liked the chapter!
Great chapter as always. Author's Response: Thank you for the review. Well, I must admit the idea of killing off Trevis did cross my mind, but it would have made things more complicated. I hope you enjoy the new chapter!
Author's Response: Heh, I know, I’m so wicked! Ending chapters with a cliffhanger really should be a crime, but what can I say? I’d probably be GUILTY.I just love ending them that way. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the new chapter!
Harry should really consider asking to take veritaserum if Snape still doesn't believe him! Author's Response: Interesting idea, but I don’t think Harry would have really trusted Snape enough to take such a step. Keep in mind that Snape could have asked him anything, from his misdeeds to his relatives. And Harry is determined to keep his secrets. I hope you enjoy the new chapter!
But ARGH! Cliffhanger!!! Author's Response: I know, I know, I’m a terrible person, haha, but I swear I’ll make it up to you. |
