Great chapter thank you. I loved how Harry overcame the occlumency problem by using his past, at least the Dursleys were good for something! Can't wait to see how the house elves are going to help. I love that harry finallly was able to block snape and hear me out, my guess is harry will feel the absolute wrath of snape next chapter absolute pissed possibly out of concern and what if harry got hurt durring the plan and hid it but snape found out. Not to mention the bubbling undercurrent flowing through Hogwarts - I swear, I could actually feel it. Ha! I'd like to see Snape's reaction when he finds out the students have single handedly (okay, not so single, but without any input - and knowledge - of the adults) ousted Umbridge. I'm so disappointed in all the adults for misrabily failing to do anything of meaning against one tyrant women... and they expect to win against an army of Voldemort's (truly pathetic)... even though I really wish to know what was the point of all that playing meek and laying low, what end plan did they have in mind? Know it's anyones guess, becuase the children had had enough and now it's their time to shine Really can't wait ... and with the both of Draco's and Hermoine's mindes togother I think they have a solid chance ... hopefully something that won't rebound so badly on them. Thank you for this chapter.. and I can't wait for more. Author's Response: Thank you for the review ,I'm glad you liked it.To be honest, I was surprised when, in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, the adults did nothing to oppose Umbridge, and Dumbledore simply left. I mean, obviously in the book, Umbridge isn’t as cruel during detentions as I’ve portrayed her, but even using a Blood Quill still like torture. That’s why I decided to leave things as they were, though when it came to the use of Crucio, I made sure the professors came together and started to plan something. I can’t tell you yet whether the professors’ plan or the students’ plan will come into play first, as I don’t want to spoil anything. Reflecting on why the adults haven’t done anything so far, one explanation could be the fear of what happened to Madam Pomfrey happening to them—being fired or, worse, sent to Azkaban. As we know, Dolores Umbridge is a representative of the Ministry, and opposing her would mean opposing the Ministry itself. For a teacher, that would mean professional ruin or even being accused of treason. Not to mention that the adults left at Hogwarts are disorganized, with Dumbledore strategically stepping away, leaving the professors in a difficult position. Of course, they can’t openly challenge Umbridge without facing consequences, as any resistance would be seen as an act against the government, given that Umbridge has the Ministry’s full support. Still, many of your observations are valid. When I read the books, I asked myself the same questions—how can they expect to defeat Voldemort if they can’t even stand up to one woman? Thank you again for your review! I always find it stimulating to exchange opinions.

Is Snape growing fond of harry? Author's Response: At this point in the story, not yet. Let’s say Snape has realized that Harry’s not spoiled and arrogant as he thought, so in a way, he’s starting to understand that Harry’s not the same as James. But as for being fond of him at this point in the story, I’d say absolutely not. |
