Especially since I want Harry and Snape to have a serious argument at some point, this could be a great reason for it. Thank you so much for giving me this idea. To answer your question, Snape will come to his senses, but you’re right—he can be a bit thick at times. Personally, I think that at this point, Snape is starting to understand; it’s just hard for him to let go of years and years of bitterness and anger.
But trust the process—soon the Potions Master will open his eyes… or at least one of them.
I liked that Harry finally stod up to Snape and told him some truths and I wonder what that will lead to. And I’m curious about the vision and look forward to next chapter. But one thing that I always wonder about when I read this type of fiction is when has Harry had enough? When will he just say no more of this shit and demand to return home or purposely get himself expelled? I know he has a bad home life but he can always run away when he gets home, so why doesn’t he? As for your question, I personally think Harry is too selfless to do something like that.
Even though he doesn’t yet know about the prophecy, I think it’s already clear to him that he’s somehow connected to Voldemort. Harry has always put the lives of others above his own, and for that reason, he could never truly leave or run away. He wouldn’t be able to live with the guilt of abandoning Ron, Hermione, and everyone else to their fate.
There’s also the fact that, after 11 years without magic, he could never bring himself to abandon the magical world—the world of his parents.
In the story, I addressed this theme when Harry is with the Dursleys, feeling lost and beaten, sitting in Dudley’s second bedroom, staring up at the starry sky. He feels the desire to escape, to grab his broom and fly away, but he knows that plan is impossible because his sense of responsibility binds him to stay.

Yes, in that moment, he was going to strike him. The anger, the fury at the way Potter had confronted him, was just too much. Snape was already furious when he caught Harry in the Pensieve, but when Harry had the audacity to bring it up again, it was the final straw.
For a moment, he wanted to hit that arrogant child, the reincarnation of James Potter. But then he came to his senses when he saw Harry’s reaction. The boy’s childhood flashed through his mind, and he reminded himself of the promise he had made—to never become like Tobias Snape. He had sworn he would never strike a child.
That’s why he’s so shaken. He never thought he’d come so close to breaking that promise. But he nearly did, and it was Harry who almost drove him to it. That’s why he’ll be angry with Harry—at least until he realises it wasn’t really Harry’s fault.
As for Sirius, I think I’ll bring him into the story a bit later, once things have started to improve between Snape and Harry.
And yes, you’re absolutely right—I love cliffhangers; I just can’t help myself! I’m so happy you liked how I portrayed Snape!
