Reviews For New Perspective
:,)
cool! im excited!
why is he amused/disguested Author's Response: Let me explain what I was trying to convey. The disgust is, of course, what Snape naturally feels whenever he sees Harry. Simply looking at him always provokes a sense of revulsion because, at this point, Snape sees Harry as the reincarnation of James Potter.
Snape feels a dark sense of amusement at the very idea that Harry Potter might think he could defend himself if Snape truly intended to harm him—considering all the dark spells Snape knows and the depth of his expertise. This amusement also stems from Snape’s lingering perception of Harry as a mediocre wizard with no real merit, someone who basks in unearned fame.
Additionally, in Snape’s mind, there is a twisted satisfaction in seeing the fear he inspires in James Potter’s son.
I hope I’ve clarified my intentions, but if not, feel free to ask!
I'm sorry to write to you in Spanish this time, but I don't express so well in English -.- Author's Response: No te preocupes, estudié español en la escuela, así que entendí lo que dijiste. I'm glad you liked the chapter ! I know, I’m terrible for keeping you all in suspense, but it seems I just can’t help it—I love ending with cliffhangers far too much. And yes, I can tell you that Severus Snape was very impressed, but as usual, he’ll be reluctant to believe it’s the result of Harry’s own work… but I won’t say anything more. Anyway, I wrote the last part in English because, while it’s true that I can read and understand most Spanish words, my writing and speaking skills are quite rusty. I studied it in middle school, so it’s been about six or seven years since I last brushed up on it.
Noooooo ToT. that cliffhanger caught me off guard.!
What an amazing chapter!! I must admit I almost laughed outloud when the word " disaster " came by man XD it's just really on point !! And another time when snape was like " NOW of ALL TIMES you choose to do it CORRECTLY " snape cannot win with this boy XDDD Again your writing is so smooth and clear I can hardly blieve you're not British. Can't wait for the next chapter! also what happened with the DADA (wasn't Seamus part of it?). Author's Response: Thank you, I’m so glad you enjoyed it, and I truly appreciate your enthusiasm. I must say, I had a lot of fun writing certain parts of the chapter, and I’m delighted that you appreciated them so much. As for the cliffhanger, I can’t help it—I think I’m addicted to them and simply can’t resist!
Regarding Seamus’s character, I decided to keep him as he was at the beginning—do you remember how angry he was with Harry for spreading fear with his claims about Voldemort’s return? And how upset he was because his mother didn’t want him to go back to Hogwarts?
Well, I preferred to keep him that way to highlight the sense of isolation Harry experienced during his fifth year. To make it feel more authentic, I thought it was better for the story’s progression that Harry not only felt excluded outside of Gryffindor but also within his own house and even his own dormitory. Regarding Dumbledore’s Army, it was disbanded because Umbridge had already discovered its existence through Marietta Edgecombe. Dumbledore took the blame for the group and fled to avoid being arrested.
I love longer chapters. It always makes me happy when I look over at the scroll bar and see I still have more to read. Author's Response: Thank you for your review. I know, I know—I bow before you as the queen of all cliffhangers! I’m glad you enjoyed the chapter and its length. I really had fun writing this one, and I’m so happy to hear you liked it.
I liked the chapter, you’re a good writer. I think it was good for poor Harry to get a little break from all the bad that’s happened to him. I’m sure Umbridge will find a way to get to Harry despite the ongoing detentions. Looking forward to the next chapter Author's Response: Thank you so much for your review and your kind words. I know, it seems I just can’t stay away from my addiction to cliffhangers! As for Umbridge, I think by now we all know that woman is determined to make Harry’s life a living hell, so you might just be right.
Idea what if umbridge reveals something in the ministry and Harry realizes that the only reason people are suffering from umbridges terror is because Harry is there so what if Harry tries to run away from Hogwarts not wanting anyone else hurt considering umbridge is only really there to make sure Harry's comments about Voldemort stops Author's Response: that’s a fantastic idea! I really love the way you think. I must admit, it hadn’t crossed my mind, but the thought of Harry trying to run away from Hogwarts to save everyone is exactly the kind of thing he would do. Hmm, I’ll see how things unfold later on—perhaps I might include something like that.
