I absolutely LOVE all the characters and characterization and plot progression and vibes!!! Especially with your writing style because it's so wonderfully descriptive like a slow precise pacing that feels so right. I adore the cathartic feels it brings--like it sucked me in and lulled me into a state of calm and I just binge-read this fic until late in the night.

Cozy comforting healing vibes 10/10 like I'm drinking hot chocolate while curled up on a couch with a fluffy blanket while petting my cat and dim lights around <3333 

(And again, because I didn't emphasize it enough, THE CHARACTERIZATION!! I love your OCs and your portrayal of our canon characters and the dialogue is *chefs kiss* throughout. They all have my heart now <3) 

it's really truly unfortunate harry can't just stay at the orphanage

they're so kind to him there and it would be good for him to be one of the children for a bit

nobody special

of course individualized attention is also something he needs but it really is too bad he's not allowed to spend even a full day away from everyone hounding him

even if snape takes good care of him and harry gets attached and snape treats him as he deserves there's still a whole world with lots of stress and danger attached to his existence

the people at the orphanage were in a different world

he got to know a little bit of what it was like to be just harry, but that's over now

hope snape finds harry's treasures under the floorboard in harry's room

probably snape will go accio or revelio harry's possessions or something

god harry really is starved for affection and care from an authority figure he's attached after the bare minimum

maybe harry can visit little haven

also it was really incredibly careless of snape and especially dr winslow to not think hm maybe someone else will ALSO be weirded out by harry suddenly being fine

they could have at least kept a brace on even if he was given freedom to walk without crutches

mrs fields must be a squib, not a muggle

she said "merlin knows" not "god knows"

they're such good people harry starts out so fucked up and this story ends so well i'm so happy for him thank you so much for this story

wait if this is summer before second year does this mean the dursley’s have confiscated or destroyed all of his school things+hedwig??

so aunt petunia feels bad enough about doing this that she can’t bear to look at or acknowledge harry, but not so guilty that she won’t let vernon do it

wonder if the police found harry’s stuff??? the trunk says harry james potter, right? so it’s clear it belongs to him? i hope they’re competent enough to make sure he gets it

Awwww. This is awesome. I absolutely loved your Snape point of view. 

The Dursleys burned Harry's trunk, of course they did. I was really hopeful that they just tossed it, or kept it under the stairs. Is Harry's wand really gone? Wouldn't Dudley have wanted to steal it and hide it? Could Fawks donate a new feather so Harry could get a brand new wand?

And where is Hedwig? Please tell me she is okay somewhere and not cooked in the fire. 

I love how determined and dutiful Snape is, looking for Harry's trunk and then deciding to try and get keepsakes and new belongings for Harry. This is so wonderful.
