Interesting changes to canon in the conversation between Dumbledore and Snape. Realistic response by Harry.

Excellent storyline!  I love your style of writing!  It flows so easily. Can't wait for the next chapter!

Woah! This is intense! Vernon is cruel and really eans to kill Harry here. Breaking Harry's wand was so painful and unexpected. That wands means more than the usual wand. It's Harry's LIFE. His protection. Of course the wand was snapped so Harry couldn't do intentional magic. Of course accicental magic counts to expel Harry. 

Oh man, I was just waiting, praying for Snape or Dumbledore, or SOMEBODY to come to Harry's rescue. Harry couldn't run outside with the Dementors still out there, and no wand to protect himself. 

Who will come and rescue Harry? Will  he be rescued? Or will he have to find his way to the Wizarding world by himself?

This is a fantatsic first chapter. I love the writing and how fast the plot is going. Really well done!
