    Muah ha ha! I hope Draco gets a detention. Poor Harry. Of course he would be badly affected by all the people dying around him and feel guilty for it. It's a strength and a mark of his caring. 

    Harry's just a kid, really. It's decent of Snape not to make things worse and to give Harry a hankerchief.

    Are Ron and Hermione in the class with him?

    Nicely written. Too bad Snape didn't say something like how chopped mandrake caused an allergic reaction resulting in inadvertant tears in some people.

    Wouldn’t it have been more enjoyable if Snape behaved like this in the books? Well written and a satisfying ending.

    Yes, I agree, it would have been a lot more enjoyable :/ I understand Snape not wanting to appear overly-nice in front of the Slytherins, but there's still no need for him to be so awful all the time, even when in private.
