Very dramatic and ghastly but thank you for updating

Whoa! Totally unexpected turn of events! Poor Harry, to witness such a sight. Poor Severus, to have to deal with the aftermath. I can't even imagine what will happen next...

Snape just euthanized the driver? Whoa.

Both Snape and Harry have concussions I think.

This is just what they need- more trauma. Seriously, shit like this stays with you forever. Throughout the chapter my mind was replaying the scene of a deadly accident helped at 20 years ago. This is the last thing Harry and Snape need.

This chapter really shows how much Harry trusts Snape. When Snape was okay Harry was too.

Super short chapter. Very intense though. Chapter break did seem a bit abrupt. Can't wait for more! Gotta see how these two cope.

Amazing, I just fell into this story for a whole evening. Absolutely spot-on characterisation - I am physically feeling tiny Harry's anxiety over Snape's mood swings and irrational behavior (and his horrendous driving that I suspect Snape could be doing much better). I know very well the feeling of adoring someone that treats you like this - where you have to always anticipate your own missteps in some way. It is really crushing. Though I already love their dynamic I also hope it will evolve much further - Snape now has some room to grow as a human being, and hopefully he will. And I really think he is doing his best.

But Harry here is so delightful - relatable in every way. It breaks my heart to see him trying so hard.

This has to be one of my top 10 stories in this genre - with the added plus of now being forced to listen to rock and metal all day until I get it out of my system.

Is the story already finished or are you still rewriting? I'm very excited for the next installment after this cliffhanger. Cheers!

Author's Response: Thank you! What an enormous compliment, and I appreciate your observations! :') The story IS complete! That's how I'm managing to update once a week. I'm still in the middle of editing some of the later chapters, but mostly just for clarity, grammar, and the like. Currently I'm trying to tie up loose ends on this story while planning and brainstorming for Book 3

Oh no Harry's worst nightmare come true, poor boy. I loved the Shakespeare reading, but what a stupid teacher! I think Harry and Snowdrop are going to be the stars of the show and won't that go down well!

Thank you for updating your wonderful story.

Mr Fowler having 8 year olds read Shakespeare is insane. Why??? And to have Harry and Snowdrop read that scene is even crazier. I'm not going to lie though, I cheered for Snowdrop when she spat. Sorry Harry.

Harry wants to be a farmer so badly.

It was only a matter of time before they had a car wreck. I hope they're okay. Harry was leaned up between the seats so he might get a face of glass. I'm sure he had his seatbelt on. I hope his eggs and milk aren't spilled. He works so hard to try to provide for himself and Severus that it would kill him not to be able to pull his weight. Car repairs are expensive too. Hopefully magic can fix it.

I love the way the story goes from high drama in the graveyard to black humour when the potion exploded. Thank you so much for the extra update

An early update!  Yay! On one hand it's not okay that Snape legilimizes Harry, but on the other hand it's hilarious. I enjoyed this chapter a lot. I look forward to seeing how motor oil interacts with the potion.

Well, as Fanfiction has been down for the week on my end at least, I will post my review here. This was an excellent chapter capturing Harry’s emotions of people he never really knew or understood. The memorial was an excellent touch to give Harry a view of the family he never had. I also like Harry’s continued struggle of what to call his relationship with Severus. And the potion mess—how awful but hilarious at the same time, with Severus cursing to the high heavens over it! That was great. Though not so much for Severus as now they still have no successful potion. Thanks so much for the update, cannot wait for the next!

A brilliant chapter thank you. I wonder if they are going to go past the war memorial that would bring Harry's parents to life but may be too upsetting
