Summary: Severus Snape discovers that Harry has been hurt. Severus believes that it was caused by the Durlsey's, but it wasn't. Who hurt Harry and will Harry want to tell his Professor or will he let the Dursley's take the fall for it? What happens if he does, and what happens if he doesn't? What will Snape do?

    Ideas of who could have hurt Harry: Weasley's before summer, intentional or not; Hagrid by mistake; Sirius; Remus; Dumbledore; Argus Filch; Death Eaters; Neighborhood bullies (not Dudley); other students on the train; magical letters creating physical injuries; Snape himself; Arabella Fig; the police; creatures; training or fights with other students; Dementors; House Elves; Ministry workers; Aurors; Voldemort through visions; a Muggle Gang... anyone else.

Helping Snape's ghost move on..... by Lia

Summary: War's over. Snape's a ghost. Snape needs something from someone to move on and Harry, being a Gryffindor, decides to help, much to Snape's irritation and Harry's delight (he can get to know more about his mother).

(Might include others : Hermione wishes to write a book based on Snape's knowledge, Ginny wants Harry to get over his Snape-obsession and start with Ginny-obsession, Draco wishes to get his mentor back, Ron wishes to just get over with this entire situation, Slytherin House wishes for a new ghost - Snape, the teachers all wish to apologise, the Ministry is divided between wishing to award him and condemn him)

Summary: Hogwarts is to make a Quidditch team from all of the houses and staff to compete internationally against other Wizarding schools. Harry is naturally the seeker. Is Snape a player, or a coach?

Harry On the Dark Side by Suki202010

Summary: Severus Snape is Harry's biological father? Lily and the Marauders were with Voldy? Dumbledore is EVIL?

Needs to be included:
  • Harry has been depressed after the death of Cedric
  • Harry finds out that Voldy isn't as evil as he is made out to be
  • Harry finds out that Snape is his father (with Lily or one of the marauders)
  • Harry finds out that they are all loyal to the dark lord
  • To keep him safe from DUMBLES they sent him into hiding with Lily and James (who are dead)
  • The Weasley's are spys for Voldy (only if you can make it believable)
  • No big breakup of the Golden Trio
  • Sirius alive!
Optional Scene: Snape and Harry take polyjuice to go to Diagon Alley
    Snape: "Something you are no doubt familiar with"
    Harry: Suprised "at least it isn't as grose as the essence of Crabbe from 2nd year"
And last but not least my favorite fics are Harry is rescued from abusive or neglectful Dursleys but it it not required!!

Healthy Eating and Exercise is Key by Jan_AQ

Summary: The food and sweets at Hogwarts are plentiful, too plentiful in fact. What happens when Madame Poppy notices that the children are becoming too plump?

Ideas:
  • Dumbledore requires the teachers to set an example for the students.
  • Snape becomes one of the new physical education teachers.
  • All of Hogwarts is put on a diet, Snape and Harry both sneak into the kitchens at the same time for food/sweets.
  • The teachers and students are put into support groups, depending on what their needs are (overweight, underweight, too much exercise, too little exercise, unbalanced eating). What group are Harry and Severus placed into?
  • The Ministry gets involved. Perhaps someone like Umbridge will be the new Health overseer at Hogwarts.
  • Will Dumbledore have to give up his lemon drops and switch them to something healthier?

Summary: Write a fic where Draco never lets the other Death Eaters into the castle or tries to kill Dumbledore. After Harry and Dumbledore return with the fake Horcrux, Harry goes and finds Professor Snape and brings him to Dumbledore, as per Dumbledore's request. What happens next? Does Snape reveal his secrets early? Does he still kill Dumbledore? Do Harry's feelings for Snape change after this night? This is a very open-ended challenge; have fun and feel free to be as creative as you'd like!

Summary: Harry, tired and frustrated with the chores, abuse and neglect from the Dursley’s, and Dumbledore’s attempts to control his life and to make him into the perfect weapon by isolating him, decides to makes a deal with the Dursley’s: He will move out, pay them a hefty fee to not mention anything to anyone about him leaving and he’ll never darken their doorway again. They agree... The what, who, how and why's between events is up to you! (Possible during Summer before sixth year)
