Summary: Harry has taken just as much as he can take from his abusive relatives so at the end of 5th year Harry refuses to go back to his relatives, and locks himself in the Chamber of Secrets. To keep up appearances Dumbledore sends Severus Snape to be Harry Potter for the holidays. Snape soon realizes Harry isn't the pampered prince he always thought he was. Will he live long enough to be able to escape?

Optional: Vernon is more than just physically abusive.

The challenge is to take place after HP and the Deathly Hallows. Finish where JKR left off before the epilogue 19 years later. It has to be from Harry's point of view. What happened after the Battle of Hogwarts? Things that need to be included: Snape still lives, Tonks and Lupin still live.

Summary: Harry starts acting out his nightmares/visions from Voldemort’s POV (ex – he curses people etc.) and thus becomes a danger to everyone around him. Harry has to be watched all the time especially while he's sleeping, so Dumbledore sets him up with a room right next to Prof. Snape. Snape helps Harry fic, but you can decide if they get along or not.
