Summary: Harry Potter is into everything he shouldn't be: drugs, drinking, all night parties, lasciviousness, free loading or exuberant spending, falling into a lifestyle he won't be able to maintain for long without killing himself at some point.

The Wizarding World seems content to let him be - except for one man. The unbreakable vow to protect Harry Potter includes protecting him from himself. Severus Snape has to fulfill his hardest duty yet: helping Harry Potter become a contributing member of society.

Summary: What if Harry realized after he defeated Voldermort that things would have been better for everyone if he had allowed himself to be sorted into Slytherin or to be placed in Slytherin at a later date?

What if Severus realized as he was dying or after he died that Harry and he could have had much better lives if he had been less prejudice and seen behind the boy's uncanny resemblance to James Potter? Perhaps it would have been better if he had retrieved Harry from the Dursleys'? Or if he had decided to take Harry in after his first year?

Both men are either offered a choice by the fatesand death or taken backwards by an older type of magic to change time, how do they react? Do they even realize that the other has been affected by their "old future" selves?

- Friendships between characters up to author
- How present their "future" selves are in the rewritten time line

Summary: What if an entire past had been obliverated? Who has done it? Why was it done?

Mandatory:
  1. Snape either being in Gryffindor or both Gryffindor and Slytherin
  2. Harry meeting a younger Gryffindor or Gryffindor/Slytherin Snape who is Harry's age equivalent or a year older
  3. Older Snape discovering the obliverate
  4. Older and younger Snape both taking care of and protecting Harry (If a back in time fiction, the Lily also protecting Harry)
  5. Both Snapes call Harry by a nickname instead of Harry
  6. James is not a good guy but is not a bad one either (think of his behavior in books)
  7. Harry is not fond of what he sees in James and/or Sirus' behavior
Options:
Snape can be deaged, Harry can go back in time, all the teachers can be deaged, author's choice.

Summary: What if when Harry viewed Snape's Pensieve it caused him to have flashbacks to being bullied by Dudley and his gang? What if he was not able to recover and was stuck in his own memories when Snape pulled him out? What would happen?

Summary: Everyone has heard of the gift of foresight, but what if Harry has the gift of hindsight? What happens when his sight begins to show him how similar his father and Sirus to Severus and to Lily as Dudley and his gang were to Harry and the little kids of Surrey?

  • Remus joining in the bullying behavior
  • Lily getting bullied by at least by one of the three main mauraders after she is married to James.
  • Sirus screaming at Harry
  • Sirus leaving Harry hanging somewhere like they hung Severus
  • Severus helping Harry deal with the shock

Lost Brother of Severus by Nightshade sydneylover150

Summary: Something triggers Harry to start having memories of being Severus' little brother (can be a scene from either the book or movie where Snape is being protective, angry, frustrated, or annoyed at Harry, Sirus, Dumbledore, or Remus).

Must haves:
  1. "You ruined my family you spoiled pure-blood," Harry ______ at ______ (feel free to reword)
    and/or
    "If you so much as look at him, let alone come near him, you will find out how much I learned during my time as one of Voldermort's servants," Snape said as he pointed his ebony wand .... (feel free to reword)
  2. Harry's real name from when he was Snape's little brother means merciful or something the opposite of what Severus' name means.
  3. Lily knows that Harry is either a reincarnation of Snape's little brother, or is actually Snape's little brother displaced through time.
Bonus points for:
  1. If the Snape family was a happy one originally when Harry was a part of it.
  2. Harry starts to feel uncomfortable in Gryffindor
  3. Harry starts to go by whatever his original name was.
