Severus Snape was once a death eater. Second a spy for the order. But third and always, he will be a Death Eater. Severus Snape knew Albus Dumbledore wasnt paying any attention to The Boy Who Lived. He also knew the Dark Lord would reward him greatly when he learned that he, Severus Tobias Snape, had singlehandedly handed him the war! How you say? By being the only person little Harry Potter believed he could trust of course. *** i expect Snape to mess with Harrys mind in this story of course; literally or not. Perhaps he just visits Harry often enough over the years that he ensures Harry would only trust him instead of Albus. Or maybe he feeds him compulsion potions over the years to the same goal.
