The story that is in my head ATM revolves around Halloween, but it's not--strictly--a Halloween story. Is that okay? It popped into my head when you posted this and has been expanding...

In my country, they start showing adverts of the upcoming holiday months (I am not exaggerating) before the actual festivities. Perhaps it's not such a local event. Dunno. Anyway, I uploaded my Halloween story more to get people in the mood than anything. :)

I don't think I'm gonna manage it by Halloween. I got conned into making a Foofa costume for my niece for Halloween... and there is no such thing as a pattern for a Foofa costume. (Yo Gabba Gabba character. Stupid looking. Hard to make the details.)
