I'm not so new here, but new to the account - but this challenge spurred me to finally get one! I'm in!

Is 31 March the deadline, then, for signing up? How often is a challenge-fest like this held? I am tempted to try it, but my free time in April will be seriously limited, and never having written fiction before, I am likely to come up with something wretched.

Yes, March 31 is the deadline for signing up and you'll have the whole month to work on it, but I'll start sending out the choices for challenges in the next couple days so those of you signing up early like this can get started. And you can always choose one that will lend itself to a short one-shot. If this works out well, we'll probably have another one later this year. This is the first time we've done one like this before.

Hi, would love to do this, haven't written anything in a long time, never posted on this site but have been reading for ages. I think it's about time I wroteagain, I think this is just what I need!
