Reviews For Growing Pains
I like how you had Harry's point of view in the beginning of the chapter, it made us really sympathize with the poor little kid. I could really put myself in his place and see how he felt about things, and then how he slowly realized what Sev was telling him. The ending was really cute, can't wait to read that story! P.S. About Lily’s portrait: I didn’t mean that I thought it meant Sev didn’t love Lily anymore, I just though maybe it was a sign of Harry thinking Alaina was taking Lily’s place. Which she isn’t! But yeah, seems I was just reading too much into it after all ^^; Author's Response: great! I really wanted you to see this from Harry's POV, since it really affected him so much. And the next chapter will be posted soon, it's really funny! Thanks as always for your lovely reviews, you really touch on all the things in my work and it shows that you really absorb what I'm writing, so I'm very grateful!
Author's Response: Thanks I love them!
Harry's tantrum was perfect. The whole chapter was wonderful. I still feel all warm and fuzzy inside! lol. Author's Response: All right! That's what I was hoping for!
Author's Response: You're right and there will be a bit of conflict between the two kids over that subject in the near future. But they'll get everything worked out eventually.
Author's Response: Yes, Sev did a good job and harry is now reassured of his dad's love.
Author's Response: Yeah, Harry really needed a hug from his dad! Thanks for reviewing!
http://au.geocities.com/chocoholly1/doodles_from_chemistry.html though I do have to warn you - It's not very good. Luckily (or unluckily) I've always been better at science than art. *sighs* Oh well. You will just have to use your imagination with the tree - class ended before i finished it. Author's Response: Aww .. .that was sweet! Thanks!
Excellent chapter! I loved the tea shop. the whole scene was adorable. And Sev's thoughts Hiliarious! Author's Response: Yes, you will see what happens indeed!
Author's Response: Yes, that's a good idea and of course they'd be taking Harry with them, Severus would NEVER leave his son out of something like that. But he will have a long discussion about what's bothering his son and make sure he understands what's going on.
I thought it was funny when Lexy and Harry were gloating over their win in Monopoly, I remember similar incidents between my family where I was in both the kid’s and the adult's places. The last meeting was yet another helpful one. I liked how Sev was so disbelieving that his dad was admitting he was wrong, his reaction was funny ^^. Oh Harry, it was only a matter of time before he started to get jealous. I have to wonder, if Lily's portrait had some kind of significance to it when it fell off? I dunno, maybe I'm reading too much into it, probably am, lol. Can't wait for your next chapter! I have to wonder what Sev will do after Harry's reaction, must have been quite a shocker. I think Sev should go talk to Harry, listen to his side of the story, then explain to Harry how he feels about Alaina and how after being so long without Lily, he finally feels happy with another woman and that you can love more than one person (and in different ways). Then, maybe Harry will come around. He has the right to still feel jealous of coarse, but he can give it try not to get so upset. Author's Response: So do I! While I was writing that part I thought, oh I wish I was there with Sev as MY date! LOL! I also loved the Monopoly game, it was a funny reminder of me and my nieces when we were kids playing against half the adults in the family. Dan is an evil bastard, and poor Alaina needs time to get over him, but Sev will help her. And Harry and Severus will have a very long talk about how he doesn't need to be jealous and everything. Lily's portrait, it just happened to fall off the wall, it isn't like Sev now doesn't love Lily any more, in fact Harry asks that very qustion next chapter and Sev replies . . ..well you'll find out when you read it. Yes, I am terrible! |
