I am so glad that Harry and Dumbledore got their misconceptions straightened out in this chapter. Snape is still right to be careful about trusting what Dumbledore will want Harry to do, but it is good that Harry can now be more trusting than he was before. I liked the heart to heart Harry and Snape had at the beginning as well, when the Professor reminds Harry that it is the adult who should be taking care of the child. Oh, and I hope we get a chance to see Snape's TWO houses - I am curious about that as well!!!

What an action-packed chapter, starting with Severus hexing his own furniture (I love the picture that brings to mind), to Harry running away from home in fear of Dumbledore!!! Umbridge has created enough havoc for 10 Dark Lords at this point, and is about as welcome at Hogwarts! I was out of breath after reading everything that happened here - can't wait to see if the Professor can come to the rescue yet again for Harry!
It's like you've thrown a ton of years all into one year: Quirrel, the Chamber, Umbitch (I call her that too). I'm really liking this fic and I like how you update a few chapters at once. It makes longer waits easier. Severus/Harry interaction is great as well as Harry/Minerva interaction.
o.o reading about severus getting attacked by nanagi was scary BUT the ending for this chapter is so cute! =)

I dearly love this story. Snape's voice, while not exactly canon, is a believable metamorphisis from the bitter, cruel person he was. Harry is sweet and funny. Sometimes he seems a bit younger than 11, but then he is finally being given the chance to be a child, he has every excuse to regress a bit and enjoy it.
I particulary appreciate the fact that you update in segments. It's nice to know that you aren't going to leave us hanging for long. Please keep up the fantastic work.

Sev in charge of discipline i can see, sirius a teacher, can't wait to see. Should be very interesting to see the trouble harry gets in w/ sirius and how lupin and snape handle it. great chapter.

I love it, the book and nagini both taken down with the fire. Snape is acting like such a natural dad now, and harry no more a downtrodden little boy, great writing.
