groan... i think it was a mistake for snape to not put harry in his place. snape is extremly good and harry would have no choice but to listen if snape made harry.

Author's Response: Harry will find out soon enough. No worries. :) My thinking with why he didn't just lay into Harry is because he needed Harry to just get it all out so they could move on.

You've done a phenomenally good job with the characterizations of Amycus, Bellatrix, and McGonnagal. Fantastic!

Author's Response: Thank you. I'm glad you liked them. :D

Gosh, I loved this, but.... I really NEED a Chapter 18.5! What happens when Snape and Harry get back? How does everyone react? How do Snape and Sinistra get together? And, most importantly, what is the relationship between Snape and Harry? Do they wake up and shake hands? Hug? Go their seperate ways? Keep in touch? Talk about Moldy-Voldy's downfall over a glass of brandy that night? Get some well-need sleep? Shag? What????????? I know this is not a new fic, but any chance you'd write that chapter? For me? Pretty please????

    Author's Response:

You're somewhat in luck. "Into the Light" is the sequel to this story, and it's going to answer all of your questions, hopefully. Unfortunately, "Into the Light" is on temporary hiatus because I haven't been getting that many reviews on it, so I'm concentrating on my other stories right now. I do have a few chapters up, though. So you can get some answers questions. Thanks for the review. :D

I really like the ending... This was an excellent AU rendition of the end of Voldemort and I enjoyed it very much. I really like how you portrayed Severus, and while I thought at first that Harry gave up his anger awfully quickly, when I went back and re-read the pensieve scene, it made more sense to me.

I'll definitely reread this one! Well done!

Author's Response: Thanks. I'm glad you enjoyed it. :D

So. Voldy's gone. I was sorta hoping to see it happen. It would've given a sense of completion of sorts, I guess. Ah, well, the epilogue was lovely, and everyone loves a happy ending. :)

    Author's Response:

Voldemort dies when the stasis spell collapses after his volley of Killing Curses. I don't let us see, but it is there, though. Thanks. :)

Argh! How could you do that?! All was going so well, and I was hoping I'd see Voldemort die in this chapter...

*frantically clicks on the 'next' button*

Author's Response: Voldie does die. I just never say it clearly. Sorry for that. :D

"It wouldn't be long before she was with Albus again. Then she'd smack him as hard as she could for putting her through this again."

Ha. That had me laughing out loud. I really like McGonagall here: still has her doubts, which is understandable, but willing to trust Albus to the very end.

Very enjoyable chapter. I like how the suspense builds. Something wicked this way comes, methinks. :) Can't wait to see what happens with Harry.

    Author's Response: Thanks. :)

I thought Voldemort hadn't told anyone about his Horcruxes? Wouldn't it raise suspicion that Snape knew about them, and moreover, informed him that Harry was about to destroy the last one? Old Voldy was rather unperturbed by all that, I thought.

The scene with Snape and Carrow was a little sickening, but that's just me - I can't take too much gore, especially when there's absolutely heartless cruelty, perhaps even pleasure, involved in causing pain another human being. No, I don't care what Carrow did to Sinistra. Snape's line of thinking, namely, that Carrow was not a person, so it was alright to torture and kill him, was a little nauseating. After that, I don't have much respect left for Snape, and that's a sad thing.

I did enjoy Bella's shenanigans, though. Drawing a red smiley face on the mirror? Heh. Good one.

    Author's Response:

I did a sort of alternate universe take on the horcrux thing. Voldemort punished all his Death Eaters after his precious snake dies. I don't fully explain that, though, unfortunately, until Battle of Hogwarts where I briefly mention it.

I'm sorry about that scene. It is definitely very violent. Again, I apologize for that. Our lovely canon Snape would never do that, and I know it. However, I used this scene as a bit of a hint for something, but also to show Snape's unbalanced mental state. He's taking everything really hard right now, unfortunately.

Thanks. I love writing Bella because you always end up asking yourself what's she going to do now. :D
