After a second reading of the second chapter some more observations:

I love Snape's reaction to Harry's 'the bathbrush hit me'. "How unusual" indeed. Snarf, snarf.

The whole breakfast thing (and bath and checking for a fever thing etc) breaks me up. Harry wants to be treated like or at least equal to an adult. He adresses Snape as 'Snape' instead of 'Professor' or 'Sir', he thinks his breakfast is inferior ('for a baby') even though it is delicious and superior to anything he would get at the Dursleys and he insists on getting all the information and having a say in matters. And Snape constantly reminds him to the fact, in word and deed, that Harry is a teenager and not an adult. This is better than Shakespear! Instead of 'The Taming of the Shrew' we get 'The Taming of the Tantrum-happy Teenager'. *snicker*

Oh, and I love the way how, for all Harry's complains, whinings and misgivings, Snape in fact treats him quite well. Snape has NOT bruised him, does NOT lock him up, does NOT give him inferior food and is in fact very reasonable and hospitable. He just demands the consideration and respect a fifteenyearold should show his teacher and elder. And Harry, having been spoiled to bits by Dumbledore, McGonagal, Lupin and Sirius and having learned to dismiss the Dursleys as inconsequential, is not ready to accomodate. Ohhh, there's going to be some fireworks at Snapdragon Manor!! ;-)

Ohh dear. The boy is doing it again. No thinking "that necklace was a Dark Object, maybe I shouldn't want to toy with it". No "I'm fifteen years old and I've only know about the wizarding world for five years. Maybe I should ask advice before doing something so potentially dangerous". Certainly no "maybe I should listen to what my elders and teachers tell me and stop thinking that it is my personal responsibility to write and/or change history". He is going down like a lead balloon :-)

I like the way you portrayed the Dursleys btw. They (and especially Vernon and Dudley) are not nice, but they are not the raving, moronic demons some fanficcers portray them as. And Snape is spot-on. Snide and sarcastic, refusing to take any nonsense from any of his students, let alone the Boy Who Lived To Annoy Him, and yet perfectly willing and able to provide for him what he needs. It's funny really... in the fifties it was said in my native country that children needed the 'three R's': Rust, Reinheid, Regelmaat (Rest, Cleanliness and Regularity/Predictability). Snape is providing all three R's in this chapter.

We've been spoiled, getting a second chapter so soon after the first. And like all spoiled little brats we want 'more, more, more!' :-)

Very nice.  Hehe. I imagine when I'm a mother I will wish I was a witch and could put the spell on for my children.  Alas I'm not a witch oh well.  The breakfast very nice, however why did Harry get porridge? And why did Snape give him a physical?  Other than that I'm all set for the next chapter. ;)

LOL! The bath scene was hilarious! Is Harry going to try and find the  timeturner that he went to the manor for? Or is he just going to start looking for the one he read about in the book? This is a really, really good, well-written story. How often will you update? Do you have a set day of the week or just whenever you get a chapter ready? Please UPDATE SOON!!!!! 10/10
