I was wrong: yours is calculated mean (which is not necessary meaner, but is mean enough). I find myself wanting to strangulate a character, while actually liking him (or at least the way you portrayed him). Your story is really interesting and, as I actually said in my earlier review, well-written. Lovely!

I thought that all the rooms at that floorlevel were shut except the potionsstorage, but (rereading the last chapter again for want of an update - hint, hint!) that one was shut as well, just not locked! And didn't Snape say that Harry should stay out of shut rooms? Oooh, boy. Harry is definitely in trouble! He goes snooping around for his Invisibility Cloak (wrong!), disobeys houserules concerning entering shut rooms (even wronger :-) and do I even want to know how much those potioningredients are *worth*?! Harry, run and go hide under your bed!

Aaaagh! Please update soon! The suspense is killing me!
