This is beautiful, sad, but beautiful. And you made both Harry and Snape very realistic. I love this story.

I really love your fan fiction. It's the way you took me into Snape's very kind & human heart when Harry was an 8 yr old in the shed and years later in Hogwarts. And the fact that Harry heard and remembered everything and saved the belt too. You're a very riveting and excellent writer.

This is one of the most beautiful fics I've ever read. I love the contrast between the young Harry and the older one, and the portrayal of Snape is very much in character.

This was beautiful. The quote, "This is how the world ends, not with a bang but a whisper" was wonderfully incorporated, inciting so much emotion! I could further my raptures, but I'll spare you!

I'd love to leave a long, lovely, detailed review, but really, all I can think to say is that I really loved this story. Very sad and very ... very very good, I guess.

One thing that was kind of jarring for me was the use of the term "muggle" in the first paragraph. It kind of threw me for a bit, because Harry was thinking like an eight-year-old (and therefore wouldn't know about magic) but he thought in terms of wizards and muggles.

Otherwise, like I said, that was an excellent story.
