Reviews For For Duty and Honor
Author's Response: Hey, I don't mind! Nagging is a good thing! ;)
This is my third reading of this piece. I told you I loved it. Ido. However, I feel as if you have more writing to do- I want more. I know you proably feel that if you did, it would never end, and you'd have to keepwriting foever. I think you're brilliant though. Thanks again Author's Response: No, it's not finished. The next part will be up in a few days. :) Thanks for sticking with this!
I like this view of Snape - he's smart and strong and courageous. This doesn't make him a "nice guy," but I hate stories that make him weak... Author's Response: I always thought that he'd have to be smart, strong, and courageous. I mean, that was how I think JKR originally painted him. However, I think that she upped the nasty factor and started dumbing him down a bit. I have hopes that he will recover... My Snape may eventually become a bit nicer to Harry at least, but I don't know if he'll ever be a 'nice guy.'
Author's Response: I'll try, but my beta reader is on holiday, so it all depends on when I can manage it.
I was so happy when I saw your update!!! Well continue the stroy soon!!!! Author's Response: I'm glad you're still following and enjoying this!

Author's Response: Welcome! Yes, he's a mess, and will continue to be some for a while. Really, if we're being realistic, Harry will have some problems stemming from the way the Dursleys treated him for the rest of his life. These things just don't go away, and they have, for better or worse, shaped Harry into who he is. Don't get me wrong, he can and will heal, but he'll have the scars forever. |
