Reviews For Harry Potter and the Ferratilis Potion
Love it! Please update soon! Saphire Starlet
I really like this story. It's sweet without being overly gushy, and I like the way Harry can still think for himself though he can't always express it. I look forward to seeing where you take this. Hopefully, you'll stretch it out for a while and not end it too quickly. Author's Response: I'm hoping to make my story book length... with one big main bad guy and problems. And then a bunch of little issues along the way. So the story will stretch out for a while...
Author's Response: Thank you. When I started writing this I had only read one other fanfic (AYLNO) so I really didn't know what other fanfics were like.
EEee! Love it, absolutely love it. I like how you have Harry remember how old he is. Different.
Author's Response: Thanks. I wanted to show that despite the fact Harry had his 16 year old mind, he was still prone to five year old ways. I've come to notice that aspect is much like you're Muggleville story. (I hope you update that btw).
Author's Response: Thanks for your review. I don't know why the italic texts repeated. Someone said they would help go back and delete them, because every attempt I make at it doesn't stick and they just come back. But also I have this story posted on fanfiction.net, with the same title and pen name- there's no repeated sentences there.
Wow, this is a fantastic story - very well-written, and you have a great way of showing emotions that isn't too heavy-handed or intrusive. I'd really like to read more - where is their last stop? Do they go to the Dursleys to get the photo album, and if so - how will Snape react to the Dursleys' treatment of Harry? One point which is not quite clear to me, perhaps I wasn't reading carefully enough - how old is Harry now exactly? Author's Response: In the baby chapters I was figuring him to be just a little over one, a bit before his birthday. Although I don't say exactly how old he is because they can't really pinpoint his age. And then in the young child chapters I figured he was 4-5 years old (but again they don't know exactly). I didn't think it was all that important for Harry to have an exact age.
WOW!!!! Amazing chapter. I forgot to mention how much I loved the mentions of Snape and his burnt toast. I noticed that that is what Snape usually eats and it was a nice thing to add in. Makes the story seem like there are more nooks and cranies to explore in the characters. :) It made SNape seem very human. I also forgot to mention how much I adored the way the Order members passed Harry around during the meeting, having "fun" and the way it was all from Harry's POV as he was dozing. Great job on that, I think that this story has so many good scenes."He wanted to crawl away and hide- perhaps being a baby wasn't so bad after all." Nice build up. Poor Harry. I love this new turn of events. I loved how Harry woke up and went to Snap eand then Snape helped him with Legilimency. Great job with the attic and the robes not being Sirius'. I really thoughtthat they were. The room only being visible to Harry is interesting- I had thoughtthat it was all a plan of Voldemort, the necklace and the thoughts and everything. Fantasic, great chapter! Great story! Thank you so much for writing and sharing it! :D

One point which is not quite clear to me, perhaps I wasn't reading carefully enough - how old is Harry now exactly? Author's Response: In the baby chapters Harry is a little over one. Since he's given the Age Accelerator Potion he ages a little faster than normal and grows to just a bit older than when his parents died. And then in the young child chapters Harry is about five. I don't ever say exactly how old he is, just about how old he seems. I figured that exacts didn't really matter and the other wizards can't use charms to figure out the age specifically either. |
