Great chapter, intriguing beginning.
Ah! A story that epitimizes my name. I, too, consider myself a being who observes the magical world without interacting with it. Lucky Harry!!! He will eventually get to rejoin it. I'm curious: If Merlin escaped the physical world into Magic itself, then is he training Harry to be this Avatar he talked about? Will Harry ever seek to enter and remain in the real world, or is he forever destined to exists in the Magic unless he is called upon to be his Avatar-self? Questions that will be answered when we can read more of your excellently inventive story. Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing. Most of your questions will be answered in the coming chapter(s). As such, I only have two things I can tell you right now. First -- keep in mind the age-old story of Merlin. He never really died, but was trapped in a tree for all eternity. Wood, as you know, is a key ingredient in the making of wands.... Second -- I made a very vague point about the color of magic. Y'need to keep that in mind too. ;) Thanks for reviewing.
