I liked it. The only part that I didn't like was how you switched from third person to first person. It kind of interrupted the flow.
Oh, I was hoping Harry would get the stuffed bear...:(
Could the smoke bring a bad memory to Harry?
I like how you've given Snape habits that he doesn't really know about. It seems like he's almost an alcoholic, since he thinks about drinking every time something bad happens. I'm glad he can control it for Harry's sake.
