Wow! I usually try to stay away from sad stories, but this one has definitely captured my attention. I'm completely in love with your portrayal of Harry and Snape, and I want so very badly to see them work everything out. Keep up the fantastic work! :)

I take it the grimace was for hufulpuff (erm, don't think I can spell) colours? It turned out a much nicer room than I was imagining though!

Why the smoking? Hate hate smoking. >:( Besides that- suddenly introduced and not in canon at all. Snape's an alcoholic chain smoking bastard now? Great person to raise a child...
Still one of the best adoption stories out there, though. The only one I can think of I liked better has Snape going insane from torture or something, going back in time, kidnapping Harry and raising him to be a Hufflepuff. I mean- how do you top that? Honestly...

Well I suppose I should review- it's a good story. Very good- best adoption story I've read, methinks. I love that it's all mistakes. You know, like life is. It's quite realistic, but not in a way that's boring to read. Poor Harry. :(
I absolutely love this story! It's amazing how you manage to humanize my favorite potions master and still keep him in character.
Thanks for the wonderful story...Please update quickly.

harry's really timid isn't he? still, i suppose with his upbringing, anyone would be. please update soon.
I really like this - it was recommended on one of my yahoo groups. I was almost in tears at the beginning, until Sev caught on. I'm not to surprised with your portrayal of the "tabby" I never really saw her a decent head of house. She doesn't stricke me as someone you want to talk to about anything important.
Keep up the good work, I can't wait to see what happens next.
