Ok, keep inventing twists and increasing the potential for this story. I like how Ron isn't stupid...and I guess I can see how someone can be intuitive about some people and still randomly dislike others for no good reason.

Is Harry dreaming or is his mind using Snape to explain thoughts and instruct him?

    Author's Response:

Subtle/minor spoilers to follow, review readers!

Ron is just that sort.  He decides who he likes and doesn't like only after quite a bit of data, but then he's loyal FOR LIFE.  By the same token, it takes a lot of data for him to change his mind once he's decided.  Hence what you now know occurs later on, where Harry and Hermione alter their perceptions of a certain character but Ron refuses... only that time, Ron's right.  ;)

And perhaps you know now, too, that Harry is remembering.  :)

I really loved Ron in this chapter. It really made up for his prejudice in the earlier chapter. This time it was Harry who I wanted to shake. OK, I understand that he isn't intentionally handling everything that's happened to him in the worst possible way but I really wish he would listen to his best friend.

Hmmm, I wonder if he has been nudged into locking everything up inside himself by something or someone... Well, I'll wonder and go on to the next chapter. You did an excellent job, as always. Bravo!

    Author's Response:

    Heh.  You are very astute.

Ron is truly Gryffindor here, in how he confronts Harry. Your dream for Harry is very insightful. Excellent chapter.

Still amazes me, your ability to just draw the reader in with your immense grasp of your story, I'm loving the story so far. Even though, Harry seems to be getting a raw deal, and it's a bit confusing, I see that that may be your way to withhold things not necessarily essential to the plot right now. Which is good. Keep writing!

    Author's Response:

That definitely is my way.  It makes some people literally angry - the same way Dumbledore does: "...be patient, Harry, and all will be revealed in due time..."  Heh.  ;)

No wonder you have such a well plotted story!  You're channeling for the characters! (laughs).   Now who is the Dark Lord subtly controlling???  I think Ron has such a poor reputation because of the times he has turned on Harry, or just seemed like an inconsiderate slob---a normal teenage boy!

As for my 'teacher' comments, thanks for not noticing that I had a typo in my review!  I seldom miss typo's while typing.  I must have been really excited about what I had read.  I also don't tend to reread reviews, but I haven't copied this story to my ongoing story log so I had to see what chapter I'd left off at.  That was quite funny, finding out you are also a teacher!!!  What is this, stress reduction?

    Author's Response:

...Harriverse... I did notice the typo.  I just ignored it.  It went against every teacher instinct I had, but I held myself back with great difficulty, lol.

I definitely channel the characters.  Each character is like an aspect of myself; in order to write a good character you have to be able to empathize (but not necessarily sympathize) with them, in my opinion.

This is total stress reduction.  Honestly, if I don't write for a certain period of time, I get anxious and irritable.  I'm totally addicted to writing fiction, and the fan sort is just about what I've time for right now.

    Thanks for reading and reviewing!
