Can I assume this isn't severitus or drarry at all? This are my favorite themes. My third favorite is healer Harry where he wants to be a doctor instead of an author. Only ones I dislike really are hpgw stories and stories where any of the kids are paired with snape-- long story short I'm enjoying this story

Hmm, not sure this is very smart of Snape, Harry's going to internalize quite a bit and Draco really doesn't need any more encouragement to feel superior if he's going to avoid becoming a Death Eater.

Hmmmm. Yes, Draco is very scary here. But he is also, in a Slytherin way, being fairly considerate at the moment.

Well, we are learning how Harry's getting through his punishment, but what was Draco's punishment for casting Crucio? I understand the spell didn't get through, but the fact is that he still cast it, intending it to hit Harry. Even if Draco knew that Harry could probably block it or dodge it, he still cast an Unforgiveable.

I do like the First-Year OCs. They are quite believably written and their personalities are charming.

    Bravo!

    Thank you!

Draco still is a prat, same as always, don't get yourself down overmuch on that fact. I'm afraid he may never change, but oh well. So far the "slaving" of Harry is pretty hilarious, I would agree with Snape on that point.

It seems to me that the room of requirements gave Harry what he needed:  Ron being the only one who has noticed the change in Harry and was concerned about it and the information that Voldemort could very slowly change his personality.  Now you have Harry at the mercy of Draco is such a way that will continue to break down Harry's personality and perceptions of himself.  That Snape put him in this position makes sense if the goal was to end Harry's blooming infatuation with the imperious curse.  But this chapter, and your authors note, make it seem that instead they will continue to hurt Harry, possibily to further Voldemorts cause.  Not my cuppa.

    Author's Response:

Things will be bad for a bit, but then they will get better.  I'm too soft-hearted to let my characters suffer for long...
